By MELISSA WOODMANThe NHL’s newest ‘furisode’ jerseys are going to be available to buy through select retailers, starting this fall.
And now, the league is giving fans a look at what those jerseys will look like on the ice.
The league released the “Fursuit” collection of jerseys Thursday and it will feature the league’s “fursuits” from past seasons, as well as new designs.
The jersey is going to feature the “furuit” look, which has been embraced by fans and has become a big draw among NHL fans.
Fans can buy the “snow suit” or “faux fur” look on select NHL team jerseys through select stores, but they will have to purchase the “cushion” version of the jersey for $80.
They can purchase the same jersey in a variety of colors and sizes.
The team has said the “furisode” design will only be available at select stores that sell NHL gear.
The NHL’s website also states that the jersey will be available in sizes ranging from a 4XL to a 12XL.
The new design is not available on the NHL website.
The NHL is also offering up “furry fursuits,” which have been a staple of NHL fan culture.
Fans can choose between “pink, orange, blue, green, purple, or grey,” as well.
The new jerseys will be released at select retailers this fall, and will be made available at participating NHL team stores and NHL Ticket locations.
